WBHS Blue – 2 played Otamatea Mixed – 3 (Loss)
WBHS Reserve – 2 played Springfield RM – 1 (Win)
NZ Hillary Qualifier
Hamish Clinch, Hayden Ewenson, Mason Gray, Hugh Manson, Tai Pullen,
Zac Raine, Oscar Ruffell and Alex Watson competed in the Hillary
Challenge qualifier in Rotorua last weekend and WBHS/WGHS Team 1
placed 5th out of 23 teams from the North Island and unfortunately just
missed qualifying for the NZ Hillary Challenge.
Ultimate Frisbee
This was a trial event held indoors at McKay Stadium, Kensington.
Basically it is very similar to indoor netball but with a Frisbee and the
students had a lot of fun.
Volleyball U17 Northland Team
Congratulations to the following boys who have been chosen for the U17
Northland Volleyball Team: Cooper Mounter, Phyame George, Caleb
George, Keane Blissett, Kahu Poulson-Hendriks, Tawhiti Clarke and
Amani Tilialo.
Lawn Bowls
This event was cancelled due to the weather conditions.

Squash
Freddie Jameson has been selected for the NZ U19 Squash team to
attend the World Championships in Australia in July.
