NSSSA Open Badminton Individual Championship: –

Surfing
Rhyder Harrington, Kobi Walker and Cooper Ashill represented WBHS at the Raglan NZ Schools Surfing Championships last week.

They all did well against the best surfers from around NZ: Rhyder surfed to round 2 in the under 18s, Kobi made the quarter finals in
the under 16s against very strong opposition and Cooper won the under 18s against the best surfers in this age group from around NZ.
Cooper also entered the King and Queen U20 section and placed 2nd.
Surfers have been selected to attend the 2024 Scholastic Team event in Dunedin in October. Cooper Ashill U18, Indy Chave-Heffernan U16
and Kobi Walker is a Reserve.
