Golf
A great turn out with Secondary Schools from Kaitaia to Wellsford attending the Golf Ambrose and Championship event despite the
continuous rain.
Championship Results:
Individual Net Score: Luca Owen 4th
Team Net Score: 2nd Place with a 222 score was WBHS Team 2 – Jordan
Parangi, Josh Laing, Henare Parangi and Luca Owen.

Individual Gross Score: 1st Place with a 75 off the stick was Rafe Fleming-
Bone
Qualifiers for the National Golf Championship placing 1st with a 234 Gross
score was the WBHS Team 1: Josh Beckham, Rafe Fleming-Bone, Tamati
Greig and Callum MacRury
Ambrose Results:
1st Placed Team: Kalym Werder, Cohen Douglas, Tommy Litchfield and
George Lincoln
2nd Placed Team: Van Leith, Tyler Cummings, Josh Wainwright and Finn
Marsland.

Surfing – 2nd Trial
U18 Boys – 1st Cooper Ashill, 2nd Reef Taylor and 3rd Rhyder Harrington
U16 Boys – 1st Kobi Walker and 2nd Indy Chave-Heffernan
U14 Boys – 4th Tai Piggott
Cooper Ashill placed 1st overall and Indy Chave-Heffernan placed 1st
overall in their divisions.

Senior Turbo Touch
WBHS Gold team – 1st
WBHS Black team – 2nd

Orienteering
Individual Year 9-10 Guy Manson – 1st place
Hayden Allen – 2nd place
Teams Year 9-10 WBHS/WGHS Blacky 2nd place
WBHS/WGHS Greenies 3rd place

Lawn Bowls
A group of bowlers played at Kamo Bowling Club last week and did very well. Ethan Laybourn and Jimmy Tyler-Whiteman placed 3rd overall.

Hillary Qualifier
Tai Pullen, Zac Raine, Tommy Earl and Devin Armstrong travelled to Taupo to compete in the qualifier. The top 4 teams will qualify for the Hillary Challenge and WBHS team placed 4th equal. The officials are counting back on times as to which team will go through and will publish in next week’s results.
