Swimming
2024 Auckland Age and Open Championships
Ry Luff – 3rd in 200 fly and 100 fly in the 16-17 YR. Ry has also qualified for the super finals.
Jacob Pascoe – 20th in the 100 freestyle with a PB time of 1.03.00 and 19th in the 100 back with a PB of 1.12.01
Rugby
WBHS travelled to Rotorua to play Rotorua Boys’ High School last weekend and played a very competitive game against them.
Summer Tournament results
Mountain Biking
The NISS Mountain Bike event was held at the Rotorua Mountain Bike Park.
Devin Armstrong placed 12th in the U17 men’s Cross Country and 30th in the Enduro race with a time of 9.33m.
James Crawford placed 20th in the U15 men’s Enduro with a time of 9.59.8m.
Quin Mann placed 55th in the U16 men’s Enduro race with a time of 10.26.5
Izaia Stratford placed 32nd in the U20 men’s Enduro with a time of 9.27m.
Volleyball
The NISS Volleyball tournament was held in Auckland. WBHS placed 7th overall beating Te Kauwhata.
Rowing
Casey Podesta is lining up as one of the 16 best under 17 scullers in the country. He placed 7th in the U17 single sculls B final and 3rd in the U18 single sculls C final. He was racing in Twizel.

Sailing
The Secondary Schools National Keelboat Championships was held in Westhaven, Auckland and WBHS placed 11th overall.
Waka Ama
WBHS competed in the Nationals at Rotorua and placed 7th out of 67 teams.
