Athletics
Trent Barrell travelled to Palmerston North last weekend to compete in the North Island Athletics, he placed 5th in the 100m and 3rd in the 200m sprints.

Antonio Galpin – Champ semi (top 24 paddlers made up 3 x semi)
Matahi Heta – Champ Final 6th out of 12 paddlers doing his best time of the Regatta
Team Event 67 Entries
500m turns – Champ Semi unfortunately they didn’t progress to a final, but were in the top 22 teams
250m – Champ final – 7th out of 11 teams nearly doing the ultimate time of under 1 minute for a 250m with a time of 101.75
To put it all into context on how well these boys did, the national event had 67 J16 boys teams competing. So to progress into the Te Ihu
Champion section is an amazing effort on its own.
