Golf

Thirty two WBHS students played the NSSSA Golf Ambrose and qualifier on the Northern Wairoa Golf Course on Monday in great conditions. 

Ambrose Tournament: 

1st place – JP Savio,  Hayden Ewenson, Hone Bramley and Lucas Nuechter Krohmann

2nd place – Logan Webb, Mason Gray, Oscar Ellis and Alex Watson

3rd place – Tai Pullen, Harper Gray, Jimi Baker and Louis Moore

Individual Gross Winners:

1st Callum MacRury – 69 – 3 under  2nd Rafe Fleming-Bone 71- 1 under 

Teams Gross Score Winners:

Josh Beckham, Rafe Fleming-Bone, Callum McRury and Keelan O’Neill who have  qualified for the Nationals at Pleasant Point Golf Club, Timaru.

Orienteering

Zac Raine, Connor Lambert and Jacob Hall travelled to Springbank School to participate in the NSSSA Orienteering course. Despite the weather WBHS students did extremely well.
