Get2Go Regionals
We have 2 teams competing in the regionals around Whangarei, Parahaka and Hikurangi Lake on Tuesday 2nd August. This consists of orienteering, kayaking and biking. Good luck Ben Blagrove, Harper Kuhla, Hugh Manson, Luke O’Donnell, Zac Raine, Brock Reid and Sam Welsh. A big thank you to Hamish Clinch for being an official and helping on the day.
NSSSA Clay Target Shooting
Clay Target series #4 event is taking place on Wednesday at the Dargaville Gun Club. WBHS has 2 teams entered so good luck boys.
NSSSA Badminton Individual Championships
On Thursday we have 10 boys competing in the Championship event held at Porowini Ave Badminton stadium.
Inter Whanau Basketball
On Friday at the Brunker gym at lunchtime and period 5 the Inter Whanau Basketball event is on. Senior students interested need to see their Whanau captains and register their name to play.
NZSS Squash Teams Championships
WBHS has 2 teams travelling to Auckland on Thursday to compete in the NZSS Teams Championships.
Team 1: Freddie Jameson, Maz Saunders, Flynn Venmore, Campbell Griffin, Josh Laing and Luca Smith. They will be playing St Pauls’ Collegiate in the first round.
Team 2: Rishi Ghosh, Dylan Goldsmith-Wiperi, Jamie Greatorex, Ollie Maunder, Nahuel Racioppi and Tane Trail will be playing Orewa College in their first round. Good luck boys.
