Cricket: Reserve Grade, 40 over Competition 26th October WBHS 2nd XI 247/ 6 vs Kerikeri 1st XI 246/7 Win. Ben Litchfield 121, Cameron Robinson 31, Caleb Beasley 4/34
Touch: Yr 9 & 10 Friday 25th October in Kaikohe. WBHS played and won against Bay of Islands College, Kerikeri 1 and Kerikeri 2. In the semi -final they played Rodney College and were through to the Final where they played and won against Okaihau College. The team members were Zavier Brown, Kier Henry, Siamani Leuluai, Nikau Marsden, Riley Ranui, LJ Tutaia, Unique Waerehu, Kaina Whiu-Hemara, and Matariki Witana. Congratulations on winning the trophy this year.
Tennis: Daniel Hammond competed in the Junior NZ Masters final in Wellington 26-28th October and placed 4th in the U16 Boys competition
The competition is a national event where players across the country compete throughout the year for Masters points in order to earn their place and qualify for the finals. Only the top 8 in each age group qualify for the Championship draw. The competition is also used as a final opportunity for Tennis NZ to assess the players before selecting the teams to represent New Zealand for the Australian Teams and individual Championships in December.
Surfing: The Aotearoa Māori Surfing titles were held in Taranaki from October 26 to 27. Congratulations to Journey Lum Yr 10 made it to the semi-finals with a score of 4.54 and placed 3rd.
