Competing: Johnny Wilson, Blake Williamson, Luke Thomas, and Lochiel Espiner.
The students achieved 5th place overall, after a few flat tyres, so a great result.

Finn Paton competed in the North Island Secondary Schools MX Challenge 2019
Rotorua 29th March and placed 17th.Finn also raced competed in the Northland Champs comp that finished on Sunday and was the overall winner for his class: – 15-16 125/250cc
Sean Alexander attended the North Island School MTB Championships- Cross country
30 – 31st March at Waiu Trail Park, Wainuiomata, Wellington. He achieved 10th Place in the U17 Boys.
Mitchell Williams had great success at the Australia /NZ water-ski tournament at Myuna Bay, New South Wales, Australia 28th-31st March. This competition has been running for 25 years, alternating between Australia and New Zealand.
Five skiers from the Whangarei waterski club were selected to ski for New Zealand in the competition. For the under 14 age group Mitchell won gold in jump with distances up to 33.8 metres, silver in tricks with a great score of 3850 points and silver overall.
The U14 team beat the Australians.
Mitchell has the NZ record for jump in the Junior Boys U14 division with a distance of 35.4 metres. This Saturday he competes in the Auckland/ Northland regionals and then the Nationals over Easter.

North of the Bridge 24th – 26th March at Parua Bay. After 3 rounds of Round Robin WBHS had 8 wins and go on to Nationals at Algies Bay, end of April. Congratulations to Ben Alabaster, Liam Holroyd, Max Middlemass, Pol Brendan, Thomas Powell, Hayden Smith, Josh Smith and Seabren Struijcken

Senior Volleyball Team to Palmerston North for NZSS Champs. 8 schools competed in Division 4 and WBHS placed 4th overall. We won against Te Puke High school 3/0 but lost against Marlborough Boys College 3/0 for 3rd and 4th Place
The boys who attended: Adyn Jones, Brigham Lawrence, Brock Longworth, Kaline Masitabua, Ruben Moon, Quinn Morgan, Dave Perdigon, Tre Seakens, and Kyrin Thomas.
Nik Kini has been named in the NZ Athletics 2019 Oceania Area and Combined Events Championships team and will compete in the discus, shot put and hammer. The competition is in Townsville QLD in late June.
There is a big team of over 100 athletes going, but only ten across the country in the U18 men category were selected and he is one of them.
